volume to the paintings. to practice this, we had to draw and use
shading skills in our drawings. we also had to draw still lives, this helped me with my eye-hand co-ordination.

Revolutionary War:
To learn about the Revolutionary war we played, "capture the flag" to
see how the Americans felt during the revolutionary war against the
British army. i know i learned this because i still remember all of the things, and i remember better because i was actually able to feel the way they felt. i
communicated my understandings, by writing about the experience, and
writing a paragraph about it.

Broken Trust
Trust is freely given, easily lost.
A betrayal, a lie, an unkind word,
these incidents come with a heavy cost
making me take back all that I offered.
You apologize for telling me lies
then get angry with me for my lack of
trust which neither of us really denies
as we attempt to reignite our love.
The embers now so dead that I feel cold
as we go through the motions pretending
we, together, can weave straw into gold.
Our relationship is not ending.
What I never say to you when you can
hear: I love you and love no other man.

Unrequited Love
When you do not call me, I ache to know
are you missing me half as much as I
miss you or are you laughing even though
we both know that you really need to cry?
I can’t sleep, repeatedly asking why?
Why do you choose to live in so much pain
when all you have to do is say goodbye
to the pretentions you choose to maintain?
Whatever your choice, my love will remain
unchanged, uncomrpromised, undervalued.
You will walk your path and I will refrain
from saying anything you’d misconstrue.
For what you think you need you look so hard
never to find me in your own back yard.

An UNREQUITED LOVE
Our love will come he said.
you just have to wait.
i waited for a whole year,
but there was still no sign,
of that love comming.
Years passed and i'm still waiting,
the only difference is....
that i won't hear him, tell me he loves me.
i won't see that sign coming.
i won't smell the flowers he brings me.
i won't be able to taste those chocolates he brings me.
i won't feel him kiss me.
i will just lie there, wondering....
was he the right one?
was it worth waiting?
was that love coming?
But one thing is for sure.
those questions will never be answered.
because i never had the chance to ask them.
But i'm still waiting for you, and
i will always be.

Beauty killed Her
1896-1936
here lies Miss Judy.
who loved her beauty.
All things come to an end,
and so did her beauty.
She looked in the mirror,
and to be sencier...
what she saw was not beauty,
that is the way Miss Judy died,
she figured out beauty,
she had no more.

Assurances
Assure me once, then reassure my heart
It’s not that we’ve forgotten how you love
And oh, my dear, you know when we’re apart
Assurances aren’t all I’m thinking of
Your hair, my dear, is foremost on my mind
Okay, okay, it isn’t just your hair
It’s kissing it while we are intertwined
I know, I know, to say so isn’t fair
I’m sure your hair will linger like a scent
And then your lips will take their rightful place
Both first and last in action and intent
As in my mind you turn to face my face
And now I feel like I’ve been reassured
Although you haven’t had to say one word.

Perfect Wife
1965-1997
Here lies my true love,
he was perfect.
he was a perfect husband
what else can i say about him.
I cared for him,i loved him.
he lived like a King.
I was his soul mate, i was a perfect wife.
if you want to meet me just walk 4 feet to the left,
i lie next to him.

Ah love,love,...love,love,love,love,love
What is it with LoveThat makes methen breaks me?
When in loveDo I truly love?
Is it really loveOr do I think that I love?
Maybe I just love being in loveOr love the idea of being in love?
I spent my whole life chasing love.
In the end the one thing I truly love
Could just be the meir pursuit of love.

Two Snowflakes
Two snowflakes met within a cloud
In mists of winter's space
He, a flake of icy white
And she, a star of lace
The cloud was heavy, winds were strong
In dark mid-winter night
Then both held hands and tried to
Stay together in the flight
Then tumbling down they lost their grip
He kept in sight her face
He said, I'll find you on the ground,
My crystal star of lace
In dawning hour the sun arose
The flake looked near and far
Rising with each whispering wisp
To find his crystal star
And there she was, lit by the sun
So delicate and clear
Among the millions, only one
He wanted to be near
Then children came outside to play
To build a man of snow
She said this is the end for us
For I have got to go
They wrapped her in a ball of snow
Which then became a face
She sparkled in the morning light
This crystal star of lace
He too was packed into the cheek
And both remained for days
She said what will become of us
In sun's now warming rays
He said the sun will melt us both
And to the ground we'll fall
But I will not forget your face,
The brightest star of all
I'll follow you to nearby streams
And into rivers flow
I'll follow you into the sea
Wherever you may go
One day we'll rise together in
the haze of summer heat
And somewhere in a cloud of white
The two of us will meet
The winds will send us onward
To the place of winter storm
You'll form into a crystal star
With frozen heart so warm
Above the January earth
In gatherings of mist
I'll find you there, my star of lace
Just waiting to be kissed

Figure it Out
I want to say something,
but can't find the words.
i want to be with you,
but i don't know how.
I want to tell you how I feel,
but don't know how to start.
just look at me look into my eyes.
can you see what they tell you?
just look don't say anything,
just know what i want to say.
